5/24/2023 0 Comments Enscape archicad 25![]() I remember updates from 15 to 20 were all so amazing. I am a computer and architecture nerd, I want this from my software developers, that is all. I would just like to have a bit more hype around it. Overall, it is still rock-solid software that I personally love. It is clear to me that they are not keeping in mind who the users are. ![]() I think at some point I remember ArchiCAD pitching the software as by architects for architects. There are a million more that I could list. For example, people have been asking about dark mode for years - this is something I don't want personally but how hard can this be to implement? Community has asked to fix some Open GL issues for years, again nothing. I also don't understand why they cannot throw a couple of little features in the updates to appease the user base. "Our plan is to keep improving the software in the next 5 years" that is about how much direction they provided. ![]() Not to mention that the roadmap going forward is laughable. Not pretending that this update was amazing, but just stating that not only it was a weak update but they really did a bad job with its presentation on top of it. I am also going to say they did not do an excellent job with the delivery of AC26 - If you look through the details there are some rather good updates to the software. This includes the new material library, simplified assets, panorama gallery, and support. With the update, Archicad 25 users can use the latest features offered in Enscape 3.1. ![]() Not to make excuses for Graphisoft but I can understand that component. Real-time rendering and VR software Enscape has released a new Service Pack that allows users to render, visualise and walkthrough projects directly inside Archicad 25. I imagine this past year (and the one prior) was pretty tough in Europe with COVID.
